What it does.
Business users need more than just a single KPI number—they need context to understand performance over time. Traditional KPI visuals often require multiple visuals to analyze trends, compare previous performance, and evaluate targets.
KPI Card with Sparkline brings all these insights together in one highly configurable visual. It displays the current KPI value alongside previous period values, target values, percentage variance, trend indicators, and an interactive sparkline, helping users quickly assess business performance without leaving the KPI card.
The visual responds dynamically to Power BI filters, slicers, and cross-filtering, ensuring that KPI calculations and trend visualization always reflect the current report context.
Interactive tooltips provide detailed information for each sparkline data point, including the corresponding Month and Year.
A comprehensive formatting pane allows report designers to customize every major element of the visual, including KPI labels, values, trend indicators, variance, previous values, target values, sparkline appearance, typography, colors, borders, spacing, and layout. Each component can be independently shown, hidden, and formatted to match organizational branding and reporting standards.
Designed for executive dashboards, operational reporting, financial analysis, and performance monitoring, the KPI Card with Sparkline delivers meaningful insights in a clean, modern, and space-efficient design.
